Why Hoppers are a must taste in Sri Lanka

Sri Lankan cuisine is known for being spicy, tangy, and sweet, but always flavorful. 3. Honey Hoppers

 

Honey hopper is another type of hopper that can be tasted in Sri Lanka, so call as Pani Appa in Sinhalese. It’s made by adding honey to the center part. Some people prefer to eat these sweetened hoppers. Specially, these hoppers are ideal for kids who like sweet snacks.

 

 

All types of hoppers are best to taste as soon as cooked, while they are warm.

The classic accompaniments for hoppers are Sri Lankan spicy chili paste call as Katta Sambol or Lunu Miris. this is a fiery blend of chili, onion, and spices. truly, adding a little little bit of hot chili paste will spice up your hopper meal. another classic addition to hoppers is coconut sambal, which is coconut blended with chili and lime. This combination is so yummy and a favorite among locals. For a more delicious meal, you can taste hoppers with fish or chicken curry.
