As soon as we heard the name of Ampara district, Arugam bay is the first place came into our mind. Ampara district located in eastern coast of Sri Lanka. Because of beautiful beaches the province is very famous among local and foreign travelars.

Arugam Bay is the best surfing place in Sri Lanka. Not only in Sri Lanka even in the world, it is one of the best surfing place. And the beach is very beautiful view to see in here. Not only this place, there are so many places can visit in this district. Kumana National park and Gal oya national park are the famous national parks located in this district. Kumana national park is a bird kingdom. Many rare brids and trees also can see in there. Degawapi stupa is a one of buddhists sacred places located in ampara district.
