Thermountain srilankae are 19 mountain in SriLanka and most of them are in the central province of the country. Mountains have well-preserved
forest areas and they also form the origin of a lot of rivers in the country. These mountains are home for lots of waterfalls that flow downs proudly.
Adams’s peak called Sri Pada mountain is one of the beautiful mountains than all the others. It is important for Buddhist pilgrimages because Lord Buddha’s footprint can be seen there. Piduruthalagala is the highest mountain that acts as the base of the communications array of the Sri Lankan government and armed forces.

The second highest mountain in SriLanka is Kirigalpotta, located in Nuwara Eliya district. Another one is Thotupala mountain, which has the
