Central Province

Central Province srilanka is the sixth largest province by area in Sri Lanka.This province is located in the central hills.There are three administrative district in this province.They are kandy, matale, nuwara eliya. The longest river of Sri Lanka, river mahaweli flowing through the district.
Kandy is the provincel capital. And it is the second largest city in country.Not also that kandy is the last ancient kingdom of Sri Lanka.And one of tha main sacred cities in Sri Lanka.

The most sacred place of Sri Lankan buddhists, temple of the sacred tooth relic is located in kady.t is frequented worship by pilgrims both locally and overseas.There are many sacred places in this province. Nuwara eliya is the other distric of Central Province srilanka province.The tallest mountain in Sri Lanka is located in this distric. The knuckles and hantana ranges are the main hills aroung this area.

Matale is the other district in this province.Famous sigiriya rock located in this district. The climate of this Province is much cooler than the other provinces in Sri Lanka.Main income of Central Province srilanka earn from tea plantation and Grow vegitables.
